This cowl is knit in the round in one piece, folded double and finished with a three-needle-bind off so there is no seaming.

It took two skeins of Wollmeise Pure 100 % merino (150 gram-skeins) for the background color (burgundy in the photo) and almost four skeins of Wetterhofs Silla (50 gram skeins) for the contrast color (white in the photo)

You need two long (32-40 inches) circular needles size 2-2.5 mm (US0-1.5) and a crochet hook (for the provisional cast on) approximatley the same size as the needles.

There is a printed copy of this pattern available from The Loopy Ewe (www.theloopyewe.com).

This pattern comes in two versions: English and Swedish.
