A stripe scarf is one of the most approachable projects out there. If you can knit and purl, you can make this scarf. That makes it a great first project for beginners, but also a relaxing, meditative knit for more experienced makers who want something easy but rewarding.

Choosing your yarn is where the fun really begins. If you want a magical, low-effort option, try Latvian Dundaga wool. The yarn’s long, subtle colour changes create stripes on their own - you don’t even have to think about it! And even one skein of Dundaga is enough for the whole scarf (Dundaga skeins are usualy bigger than 100g! Your one skein project requires anything between 150g - 180g)
