This elegant and stylish scarf is surprisingly simple and quick to crochet. A beginner friendly pattern that makes a beautiful accessory that will complement any Spring, Summer or early Fall outfit.

The stitch pattern is an easy to memorize mesh that creates a light and drapey scarf and makes an effortless and relaxing crocheting experience. A great project for combining with other activities like watching tv or listening to an audiobook.

Worked flat in rows, lenghthwise, all in one piece. The scarf has a finished measurement of 7”/18cm x 65”/165 cm. The size of the scarf can be easily modified to be shorter, longer, thinner or wider, and can be made into a shawl by simply tripling the width (don’t forget to adjust the yarn quantity accordingly). Once finished, leave it as-is, or add the optional decorative edge stitch for a nice finished look.

The suggested yarn is Truboo by Lion Brand, a DK weight 100% Bamboo Rayon yarn that is extremely silky, soft (especially after blocking), and has excellent drape. Bamboo is a great yarn for warm weather as it feels cooling, and the mesh stitch pattern lets air through, so this is a great option for a warm weather accessory. A linen blend yarn like Sandness Garn Line or Drops Belle also works wonderfully with this pattern. You could also go with a soft fuzzy yarn for a late fall/early spring option.

Full written instructions, materials list, easy to follow charts, project diagram, and all necessary information to make this beautiful scarf is included in the downloadable PDF.
