Eira is a Nordic Inspired hat in a regular adult size with a finished circumference of approximately 20 inches (51 cm)

The brim of the hat has a braided edge with a corrugated rib.

The body of the hat is charted.

Gauge is 26 sts and 28 rows per 4” in the round blocked.

Instructions for creating tassels and tassel strings are included.

The pattern was knit using 2 skeins of Rauma Finull PT2.

• For the Contrast Color -Rauma Finull PT2 in Off White, color 401 Approximately 20 grams was used.
• For the Main Color - Rauma Finull PT2 gradient hand dye was used (this was a special run by Spry Whimsy Fiber Arts for the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival 2021) but any other single color solid, or combination of colors that contrast well with the contrast color will work for the main color.

Materials:
US4 (3.5mm) needles or size required to obtain gauge.

• 16” circular plus DPN or
• 32” circular or grater for magic loop method.
• Tapestry Needle
• 3.5” (9 cm) rectangle of heavy cardboard for making tassels.
• Sharp Scissors.
