The Eirene is a simple cabled cowl. Ideal as a first in the round cable project or for binge watching your favourite TV programme.

There are 2 sizes on the pattern.
Small 43cm circumference x 23cm high.
Large 60cm circumference x 33cm high.

I am not a pattern designer. I simply enjoy playing around with stitches and seeing what happens. If you spot a mistake or have a question please send me a message.

Some things you might like to know before downloading the pattern.

Skill Level: Adventurous beginner to intermediate.

Skills needed: Cast on, knitting in the round, cabling, the knit stitch, and cast off.

The pattern is written in a line by line format, no chart.

Materials required:
150-300m chunky yarn.
5mm and 6mm 50cm (60cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain tension.
Cable needle
A stitch marker (recommended but optional)
Darning needle to sew in ends.
