The Éléa Sweater is a really soft and cosy sweater with an oversized look. It’s the perfect piece for days when you want to feel like you’re wearing a cloud.

The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. Start with the back panel, then attach and work the front panels and then join in the round. Finanlly, knit the collar and both sleeved.

Techniques used:

Knit and purl stitches
Knitting in the round and flat
Increases and decreases
Picking up stitches
Casting on and italian bind-off

You will need approx. 500(500)600(600)600(700)g of yarn, so 250(250)300(300)300(350)g per colour of your choice.
I used two strands of Ballerina Chunky Mohair from Sandnes Garn (50g = 135m; 77% Mohair, 18% Wool and 5% Polyamid) in the colours Natural white (1012) and Dazzling blue (5845).

Prefer an alternative? Drops Melody (50g = 140m).

6 mm circular needle and optionally a 5,5 mm circular needle for the collar.

Gauge:
In stockinette stitch: 10cm x 10cm = 14 sts x 20 rows using 6mm needles.
