This purse pattern is called “Elegant,” because it is great for creating a purse that has that “Work Day, to Dinner Out” possibility.

Made with “Sugar ‘n Cream” cotton yarn, it is lightweight, but a wonderful “go to” purse for all occasions. It looks just as good at the grocery store as a night out with friends.

This is not a difficult pattern, an intermediate-beginner will probably do just fine with it.

Even though cotton is used for the Elegant purse, it is also a wonderful pattern to use 100% wool yarn, as well.
