Eleseus Loop Scarf
The Eleseus Loop Scarf is named for the eldest son in my favorite book to read in the winter, The Growth of the Soil. I wanted a scarf that would make the most of a single ball of yarn. Eleseus is born in the Almenning of Norway in the late 1800’s. He is a smart boy, but soon finds his dreams are too grand for the simple life in the wilds.
He is a fancy boy and I thought of him while working up this clever little scarf. Worked in a deep blue hue with lovely texture throughout, this scarf is easy to wear and will keep you warm and looking smart!
The scarf is one size, although you could make it longer if you wanted to use 2 balls of yarn. Easily customizable and would look nice with a stripe or 2 of a different color.
Pattern calls for a single ball of Paton’s Classic Worsted in Mercury color. Although your favorite worsted weight yarn would also work. Size 5 mm hook. U.S. crochet terms.
