FORMAT: PDF document of 12 pages with detailed instructions and images illustrating the process

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

FINISHED SIZE: If done with super fine and fine or light yarn and 1.3 mm hook, it’s sitting 14” (35cm) tall

Materials:

  1. Yarn (Weight: fingering or super fine yarn) • Beige • Blue • Dark blue •Orange • A bit of pink, brown, white and black

  2. Hook 1.3

  3. Fiberfill

  4. Yarn or tapestry needle

  5. Green felt for leaf on hat (this can be crocheted but adds weight to an already large head)

  6. A small piece of plastic (the lid can be used on plastic containers of ice-cream, for example)

IMPORTANT:
• All rounds are worked in a continuous spiral, unless instructed otherwise
• Use a stitchmarker for counting your rounds
• If you prefer to sew parts together, leave a long tail after you finish off. I think the toy looks neater if you sew with a finer yarn. (For example, a seperate piece of thread from the yarn you crocheted with)
• It is easier if you add your fiberfill to all the pieces as you are crocheting them
