Recently when my brother and his wife were over with their daughter Eliana who was approaching the age of 2, she made a beeline to our bookshelf containing ~200 or so books to pull out one titled ‘The Art Of Seduction.’

“What?! Why that one??” I asked my sister-in-law while falling over cracking up.

“Eliana loves orange,” she replied laughing, noting the mostly bright orange color of the spine.

For Eliana’s 2nd birthday I designed and made this skirt for her, a simple top-down lace knit in the round with two yarns held together at all times for a gorgeous marled effect. It is easily adjustable to all smaller and larger sizes (adult even!) by simply decreasing or increasing the number of pattern repeats around.

This pattern design in US knit terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished item made from this pattern.
