Elisenberg tights are knitted top down. First, you knit the waistband and the extension in the back for a good fit. Then, increases are worked for the gusset before the work is divided into two legs. The legs are knitted in the round on double pointed needles with decreases. Finally you knit the foot. The heel is shaped with short rows.
