Ella Tee - digital knitting pattern (PDF)

The Ella Tee has a boat neckline that can be worn off the shoulder. It is worked seamlessly, in the round, from top to bottom. It mimics the look of set-in sleeves by increasing in the shoulder area. The top half of the tee has no ease and the bottom half is made in 2x2 ribbing with 25-32 cm / 10-13 inches negative ease. You have the option of adding increases below the waist and can size up in the top half to make the neckline more off the shoulder.

Gauge (after blocking):
stockinette: 10 x 10cm/4” x 4” = 19 sts x 30 rows on 4mm needles
2x2 rib: 10 cm / 4 inches = 30 sts on 3mm needles


Sizing:
The Ella tee features two sizing systems, one for the top half, and one for the bottom half. This means that the fit is customizable across bust sizes.
Section A (= top half, full bust): 10 sizes. The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 (10) fit measurements 79-83 (84-89) 90-94 (95-99) 100-104 (105-109) 110-115 (116-120) 121-125 (126-130) cm/31-32.5 (33-35) 35.5-37 (37.5-39) 39-41 (41-43) 43.5-45 (45.5-47) 47.5-49 (49.5-51) inches.
To determine your size for Section A, measure the circumference of the widest part of your chest.
Section B (= bottom half, underbust): 12 sizes. The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 (10) 11 (12) fit measurements 63-67 (68-72) 73-77 (78-82) 83-87 (88-92) 93-97 (98-102) 103-107 (108-112) 113-117 (118-123) cm/25-26.5 (26.75-28) 28.5-30.5 (31-32.25) 32.75-34.25 (34.5-36.25) 36.5-38 (38.5-40) 40.5-42 (42.5-44) 44.5-46 (46.5-48.5) inches.
To determine your size for Section B, measure the circumference of your underbust.

Length: made to your desired length. The sample measures 51cm / 20 inches in length.

3mm (US 2.5) circular knitting needles, 60-80cm length

Yarn:
You will need approximately 150g (200g) 200g (250g) 300g (300g) 350g (350g) 400g (400g) of Kremke reborn DENIM uni – 95% cotton, 5% other fibres (155m/170 yds per 50g skein).

You can use any other sport weight yarn that meets gauge. You can also use a wool yarn instead of cotton to retain more stretch.
