Eloelai Wedge Stitch Poncho
I absolutely adore the simplicity of ponchos; how they provide warmth without being cumbersome and how the drape
always looks stylishly casual. They can be flung on in winter to layer up, or worn in summer to add a touch of “Je ne
sais quoi” to a beach outfit, as well as every season in between! I have tried MANY patterns, from retro granny square
style to asymmetric. This is my mash-up of all the style’s best bits: a flowing drape coming down to a slimming point,
a cheeky peek-through-shoulder, an open stitch for best shape, and a slight cowl at the neck. I hope you enjoy this
one as much as I do!! Don’t forget to let me know how it goes: @eloelai on Instagram.
Skill level: intermediate
Size: One size fits all, although you can amend the pattern by adding/removing blocks and rows.
