Eloelai Wristwarmers
I hate having cold hands, so will always wear gloves once the weather turns, but get frustrated with
constantly having to take them off to get money out of my purse, answer my phone, etc. I wanted a
practical wrist warmer but nothing too bulky or busy - just a comfortable, cosy glove that I could wear
anywhere. I had a look at lots of patterns but none seemed to quite fit the bill; so I had a go at making my
own…
These gloves always make me feel a touch more chic and glamorous than usual, because they are shapely
and have the additional little flower that lifts them from the “everyday”. Just wearing them makes me
smile!
This pattern can be adjusted to make smaller for children or larger for those who like their clothes a little looser,
just add/decrease in fc and remember how many stitches you have so you can adjust the thumb hole position
accordingly.
I use double knit but some seem thinner than others, so you may want to adjust the foundation chain depending on whether it seems tight on the widest part of your hand. One ball (100g) is enough for the pair.
