Elskverdig is a Norwegian word that can be translated literally to “love-worthy”. A pair of hand knit mittens can be a very warm declaration that you care for someone. If all your loved ones already have all the mittens they need, consider knitting these and donating to someone who could use them in the colder months. If you’re knitting these for someone else, use the coupon code “Omtanke” at checkout for a discount!

These mittens are knit cuff up with small amounts of aran weight yarn, perfect for leftovers in your stash. The simple colourwork chart is easy to get into and remember, and the thick yarn makes these mittens a pretty quick knit. Because of the construction, both mittens are knit exactly the same and fit either hand, so no worrying about accidentally making two left mitts here!*
