It’s finally the time of year where I need something to wrap myself up and stay warm, especially on my feet. The world outside turns more grey and cold and I want the feeling of a hug all day long - this socks will embrace your feet and keep them toasty warm.

The pattern is easy to read, and memorize, and it seems to knit itself up magically.
It will be working best with a solid or semi-solid yarn, but some speckles or a lighter variegated won’t hurt either.

I wrote the pattern for 56, 64 and 72 stitches, it’s worked cuff down with a heel flap and gusset.

Usually I love my socks short but you can knit them as high as you want, and feel free to change your heel or toe to whatever you prefer most.

Every day I experience the love that flows through the worldwide knitting community and I decided to share more love for everyone’s feet, so this one is another free pattern for you.

Feel free to tag your works in progress and your finished objects with #TanteMemaDesigns so I can see what you made :) and don’t be shy to contact me on ravelry if you’re having a problem with my patterns.

Happy knitting!
