Pattern for crocheting a toy Empire Cave pseudoscorpion, a small arachnid endemic to caves near Santa Cruz, California.

The finished toy measures a little under 4in long (10.16cm), not including the pedipalps.

The pattern is suitable for beginners. There are no complex stitches, but some sewing is involved, as well as crocheting a very narrow tube.

You will need at least three colors of yarn, a hook, craft wire, stuffing, and a needle for weaving in the yarn tails.
