Delightfully fun and deceptively simple, this moebius cowl features a reversible textured lace pattern, which is worked entirely with knit stitches. There is not a single purl used! A nifty knitter’s trick makes this possible and is thoroughly explained. A link to a video tutorial for the special cast on used is included in the pattern.

Gradient yarns, solids, and tonals will all work for the cowl. The pattern is also easily adjustable to manage the yarn amount you have and includes instructions for customization. You can stop when you are near the end of your yarn. Use leftovers from your stash! The possibilities are only limited by the extent of your imagination.

The sample was made using fingering weight, but it could be made with lace, sport, DK or even worsted. The cowl can be styled in many ways, including as a snood.

The cowl is really fun to make. Knitters from advanced beginners to proficient will enjoy making this one. Pattern includes both written directions and chart for the pattern repeat.

Once you have made one, you will want to make more as it works up quickly and would be great for gifts.
