Inspired by the 17th century fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, and Disney’s beloved heroine, Belle, this elbow-length, hooded capelet strikes the perfect balance between functionality and luxury. Opulent enough to fit in on a fine evening out, the garment is yet practical enough to function as an outer layer in the cooler months. The generous hood is shaped with short rows for an elegant, comfortable fit, and the cape is knit with steady, circular increases to allow maximum coverage and drape. Finally, the rose leaf lace edging winds around the entirety of the work to give a sweet, complete finish.

Finished measurements: 18 inches in length from back of neck to hem of cape, 21 inches neck circumference (relaxed, use drawstring to tighten), 20.5 inches from back of neck to edge of hood at forehead.
