I had so much fun designing this hat! I love the look of cables, and this hat is nothing but cables, all around. I used just under 2 skeins of Malabrigo worsted weight wool, but could have used slightly over 1 skein (for the medium size) if I had not made the pom pom. I made a HUGE pom pom, and I do not regret this decision ;) Feel free to make any size pom pom to suit your taste, or omit the pom pom entirely. A faux fur pom pom would also do nicely on this hat. Sizes can be adjusted by adding or subtracting 20 sts at cast on.
