England Flag Brooch
This is a free pattern for an England flag brooch - a St George’s Cross brooch you can pin to a jacket, bag or coat.
The brooch is worked in two panels (front and back). The front panel features the flag and is worked in tapestry crochet from the bottom up; the back panel is worked in a plain colour of your choice.
Once both panels are made, a brooch pin and a small piece of plastic canvas are sewn on, and the two panels are crocheted together all the way around to finish.
SIZE: Using the yarn and hook specified, the finished brooch measures approximately 6 cm x 5 cm.
All details about yarn, materials and stitches are in the pattern. A video tutorial is included to walk you through the assembly (it shows the Union Jack brooch, but the process is exactly the same).
