Erigeneia as infinity scarf is a further step with the Erigeneia as a rectangle.
The infinite scarf starts with a row of foundation stitches, then worked in diagonal rows sideways, and joined-as-you-go with an almost invisible join. You can also leave the ends not-connected so you get a scarf with two pointy ends. The construction and join method are explained in the pattern.

Both length and width are adjustable. You can choose your own yarn and gauge is not important. Adjust hook size to your yarn.

Please note that the Erigeneia shawl is a pattern by the very talented Silke Terhorst. She gave me permission to write down the rectangular stole and now the diagonal cowl. All copyright to the Erigeneia pattern lays with Silke. Since I find it important that she is the one credited, this pattern can’t be understood without the original Erigeneia pattern.
