Needles & notions

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Waste yarn or stitch holders for sleeves.

Stitch markers.

Tension gauge

Be sure to check your own tension before starting to knit. Cast on 12 stitches and knit 19 rows on needles size 8 mm for a 10 x 10 cm sample. If tension measures too tight, change to a thicker needle. If tension measures too wide, change to a thinner needle.

Good to know

This sweater is knitted top-down in the round using one strand of Angel Lace together with one strand of Kid Silk Mohair or with one strand of Wild alpaca. Begin at the neckline, then work the yoke with raglan increases. When the yoke is complete, separate stitches for sleeves and body. The body is worked in the round, and the sleeves are finished with decreases and an i-cord edge.

Yarn quantities are approximate and based on average use.
