The Erna Beanie is a simple classic beanie with a double folded brim. It’s worked bottom up in the round and all in one piece. The top of the hat is finished off with decorative decreases. After finishing the beanie, the bottom part is folded in half and folded up once more to create the double folded brim.

Gauge: (after blocking)
22sts x 36 rows = 10x10cm/4x4” with two strands, worked flat in 2x2 broken rib stitch on 3.5mm (US 4) knitting needles

2x2 broken rib stitch:
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Row 2: K2, P2 repeat until the end of the row. Repeat Row 1 and 2.

• 100 (150) 200g of ‘Arwetta Classic’ by Filcolana
• 3.5mm (US 4) circular knitting needles (40cm/15.75” cable plus an 80cm/31.5”
cable for magic loop or 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs)
