PROMOTION:

The Erna Mittens are simple, classic mittens matching the Erna Beanie. They’re worked bottom up in the round and all in one piece. The top of the mittens is finished off with decorative decreases matching the decreases on the Erna Beanie.
This pattern also includes instructions on how to make a fingerless mitts version of the Erna Mittens.

This pattern comes in one size, however, I recommend using slightly thicker or thinner yarn and needles to make the mittens bigger or smaller, and trying it on as you go.
To make it slightly bigger you could add a strand of Mohair yarn/lace weight yarn and knit on 4mm or even 4.5mm needles. To make it slightly smaller you could knit with a strand of fingering yarn and a strand of Mohair yarn/lace weight yarn on 3mm or even 2.75mm needles.

Gauge: (after blocking)
22sts x 36 rows = 10x10cm/4x4” with two strands, worked flat in 2x2 broken rib stitch on 3.5mm (US 4) knitting needles

Row 2: K2, P2 repeat until the end of the row.
Repeat Row 1 and 2.
