Your index or middle finger animate the head while, pinky and thumb move the wings.

Puppet is knit from nose to tail, wings are knit separately and sewn on. Both knitting in the round and flat knitting are used.

This project is a great stash buster and uses about 20 grams of worsted weight yarn

You will need 4 x 3 mm DPNs, darning needle, 3 stitch markers, and 2 beads/buttons/safety eyes

Although a simple knit, you should be comfortable knitting in the round using double pointed needles with few stitches on each needle.

The pattern is written for average adult size hand, but comes with simple instructions for smaller or larger sizes

Gauge is not important, but the fabric should be loose enough to move freely but tight enough that it is see-through
