  • The pattern is written as follows 18 to 24m 24m to 2T, 2T to 3T, 3T to 4T, 4T to 5T
  • All the stitch counts, and rounds will be in the corresponding colors to make the pattern easy to follow. If you print out your pattern, I recommend highlighting your size throughout the pattern. This will make it easy to follow.
  • This pattern is worked in both loops.
  • The cardigan is worked from the top-down, raglan style.
  • There are 2 special stitches used in this pattern. One is the Bead Stitch, you can find a picture and video tutorial of it on my blog, if the Special Stitch instructions are not enough. There are many other ways to make the Bead ST, but this my own variation.
  • The SC DEC and DC DEC you have probably seen before, but I added those instructions on pg. 3 just in case!
  • The Bobble Stitch picture tutorial is on page 5 of this PDF. This is the stitch used for the border of the cardigan.
  • REMEMBER: You must obtain gauge FIRST to find the right hook to use for you. Not everyone uses the same tension when crocheting so although I suggest a 4.0mm, you might need to go up or down a size.
