The Merica’! Baby Vest crochet pattern is a sequinned vest inspired by the American Flag. It is worked in Half Double Crochet for the red and white stripes then single crochet for the blue sequinned top.

I used One Skein of Yarn Bee’s Sugar Wheel: Cherried Away, however it seems to not be available for purchase online. You might get lucky searching your local Hobby Lobby! If you are unable to find this yarn a great alternative would be to buy each color separately, the PDF pattern explains this in detail. You may be able to use Red Heart’s Team Spirit in red, white, and blue, as long as it isn’t a variegated yarn and unwinds more like a cake (the color changes aren’t every few stitches and the colors can easily be seperated)

The gauge is:

2 rows of HDC = 1 inch, 2 rows of SC = 1/2 inch

It is meant to fit a baby in the 6 to 9 month size range. No other sizes in this pattern are available at this time.
