Needles: US 1 / 2.25 mm double pointed knitting needles, or circular knitting needles at least 40” / 101.5 cm for magic loop.

Yarn: Fingering. Sample is knit in:

MC: Laine & Lotus Twist Sock (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon). 100 g / 4 oz., per 423 m / 463 yds. Fingering weight. Colorway: Cranberry Garland. Approx.
120 (200, 240, 340) (400, 520) yds.

CC: Cascade 220 Fingering (100% Peruvian Highland Wool). 50 g / 2 oz., per 250 m / 273 yds colorway Dark Plum. Approx. 15 (25, 35, 45) (55, 65) yds.

These shorties / running socks are a top-down sock designed with a padded heel for comfort while wearing sneakers. The colorwork is a fun way to use up scrap yarns and mix/match colors together to make the sock even more fun!
