The “Everyday Round Vest” is a round-neck vest featuring a compact neckline, dropped shoulders, and a relaxed fit.
It is worked from the top down. To start, the back shoulders and the back neck are shaped using short rows, then worked flat to the underarm. Stitches for the fronts are picked up from the back shoulders, then both fronts are worked flat while shaping the neckline and are joined at the bottom of the neck. The front is joined to the back at the underarm to be worked in the round. After the underarm gussets are shaped, the body is worked seamlessly to the hem. The armhole and the neck ribs are worked from stitches picked up and are worked in the round.
The vest is available in two lengths: a standard length that goes well with any outfit and a cropped length that is convenient for long skirts and high-waisted pants. Since it is a top-down garment, you can try it on and adjust the body length to your preference (note that this may affect the required yarn amount).
Alone in summer and over any garment in other seasons, you can enjoy this vest all year round by choosing the size and yarn that suit your style.

The model is 1 m 62 / 5’4” tall and is wearing a size 2, with approx. 24 cm / 9½” of ease in the bust.

22 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch with US 6 / 4 mm needle, after blocking.

Both the standard- and cropped-length samples were worked with Isager “Merilin” (50 g = 208 m / 227 yds) and Isager “Trio 1” (50 g = 350 m / 383 yds) held together throughout.

• The standard-length sample (size 2) used 4 skeins of Merilin (color: 30) and 3 skeins Trio 1 (color: Chestnut).
• The cropped-length sample (size 2) used 3 skeins of Merilin (color: 9) and 2 skeins Trio 1 (color: Khaki).

NEEDLES
4 mm / US 6 & 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles, 80 cm / 32” or longer.
4 mm / US 6 & 3.5 mm / US 4 needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round for armhole ribs and collar.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

Everyday Round Vestは、コンパクトなラウンド・ネックにゆったりした身頃を組み合わせたドロップショルダーのベストです。
このベストは、上から下へトップダウンで編みます。まず後ろ衿と肩を引き返し編みで作り、脇まで後ろ身頃を平編みで編みます。その後、後ろ肩から左右の前身頃を拾い、衿元でつなげた後、脇で後身頃とつなげます。脇下のマチを作った後、裾のリブまで輪で編みます。アームホールと衿のリブは拾い目をして編みます。
どんなスタイルにも合わせやすい標準丈とハイウエストのパンツやロングスカートに合わせやすいクロップド丈の２種類を用意しました。トップダウンで編んでいくので、試着しながらお好きな丈に調整することもできます（この場合、糸量が変わりますのでご注意ください）。
夏は一枚で、その他の季節にはレイヤードで。お好きな糸やサイズで自由に楽しんでいただけたらうれしいです。
