Crochet a beautiful scarf you’ll love reaching for on chilly days with this Everyday Scarf Crochet Pattern. The combination of simple stitches creates a unique texture with naturally scalloped edges, while the fringe adds the perfect finishing touch. This quick and easy pattern is perfect for making a cozy scarf for yourself or as a thoughtful gift. Detailed written instructions, helpful diagrams and a step-by-step video tutorial are included to guide you from the first stitch to the finished scarf.

Skill Level: Easy.

Size: The pattern creates a scarf that is approx. 7” wide and 68” long (not including the tassels). Instructions for adjusting the size are included in the pattern.

Yarn: You can use any size 4 (medium) yarn. For each scarf, you will need approx. 420 yds. I used Heartland yarn by Lion Brand in the colors “Badlands” (burgundy), “Rocky Mountains” (green) and “Carlsbad Caverns” (blue). This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic. A skein is 251 yds / 230 m and 5 oz / 142 g. For each scarf, I used 2 skeins.

Crochet Hook Size: J/10 (6.00 mm).

Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors and a measuring tape.

Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
