Overview
“Everyday sweater” is a classic drop down shoulder sweater with a twist at the shoulder seams. It has around 25 cm of positive ease and a double thread of soft silk mohair makes this sweater really warm and sturdy, that can be worn every day and is supposed to last a long time. The sweater has a cropped fit with some waist shaping.

Construction - European Shoulder method
The sweater is seamless and it is knitted top down. First, the back yoke is knitted using short rows to shape the shoulders. Then stitches are picked up at each shoulder and knitted into the front yoke, adding an ornament just above the shoulder seam. The front yoke and the back yoke is then joined in the round and the knitting is continued top to bottom. There are increases and decreases at the waist to give a silhouette a bit more fitted look.
For the sleeves, the stitches are picked up along the sleeve opening and knitting top down in the round.
