Beginner-friendly oversized chunky sweater.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Extra Chunky Sweater, Junior is the perfect addition to my Extra Chunky Sweater. This pattern has its own small funky details, and room for chunkier needles and chunkier yarn scraps. Thus, you will have a unique, oversized sweater for children in the ages 3-10 y/o in no time.

Circular needles 7 mm | US 10,75, 40 cm | 16 inches, 10 mm | US 15, 40 & 60 cm | 24 & 32 inches, 15 mm | US 19, 40 & 80 cm | 16 & 32 inches
Crochet hook 5 mm | US 8

GAUGE
On the body 6 sts using needle size 15 mm = 10 cm | 4 inches
On the sleeves 9 sts using needle size 10 mm | US 15 needles = 10 cm | 4 inches

YARN CONSUMPTION
Approx. 350-750 g scrap yarn

POSITIVE EASE AND FIT
Since the design is intended to be oversized, it should have a positive ease of approx. of 30 cm | 12 inches.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in rounds using 15 mm | US 19 needles

The sleeves are worked from the bottom up using 7 mm | US 10 3/4 and 10 mm | US 15 needles.

The collar is worked in rounds using single crochet sts.
