This pattern is to make a super, super chunky, round cushion, approximately 35cm diameter and 20cm deep when finished.

Any super chunky yarn can be used. The yarn is used triple, i.e. you knit with three strands at once to give the extra thickness required. So it does use quite a lot of yarn!

A pair of 20mm needles are also required.

It is otherwise a very easy pattern.
