Eyelet Double Knit Neck Cuff
This is a quick to make reversible neck cuff. I think it’s great for an experienced knitter that would like to try a new approach to double knitting. I see double knitting with a solid back ground and holes on one side in patterns but this pattern is Eyelet stitches on both sides. Super fun. A two row repeat. Something unique to knit in a short time. Great for a last minute gift.
Regarding the provided yardage. I listed yardage for Tahki Yarns Donegal Tween Fine where I Navajo plied the yarn to get a bulky gauge (creating 6-ply from 1-ply). When I used Malabrigo Caracol I estimate the yardage to be approximately 30 yards for a quick neck cuff.
Note: It’s best if you’re familiar with double knitting. I’ll post a tutorial on the blog for the non-double knitter. Since this is a 2 row repeat I think a detail oriented knitter should be able to do it. Look for the tutorial by the second weekend of December, or message me if you just can’t wait!!
I hope you love this as much as I do.
