The Eyelet Dress is knitted using thin, lightweight and durable cotton yarn. This maxi length dress features a boat neckline, slightly flared skirt and is knitted sleeveless. The bodice and hem are finished using eyelet pattern. The upper part of skirt is knitted using simple stockinette stitch.
The big advantage of working top down is that you can easily adjust the length of the dress.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 9 (13, 17) x 50g balls 1440 (2080, 2720)m or 1575 (2275, 2975)yds using Drops Safran (31 colour shade) or any other cotton (50g - 160m ball).
NOTE If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 3.00mm x 50cm (US 2 ½).
• 1 Circular needle 3.00mm x 80cm (US 2 ½).
• 1 Tapestry needle.
• 4 Stitch Markers.
• Scrap yarn or 1 st holder to hold back part sts, while you work on front part after division.
NOTE Needle size is only a guide- if you get too many stitches on 10cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10cm, take a smaller needle size.

ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS (after washing and blocking)
Sizes: S/M, L, XL.
Dress flat width (just below armhole)- 46 (51, 56)cm / 18 (20, 22)ins.
Dress length (from top of the shoulders)- 91 (93, 95)cm /36 (36 ½, 37 ½)ins.
NOTE Because of eyelet pattern after washing and blocking length extends approx. 7cm / 2 ¾ins.
Close- fitting. Zero ease.
The pattern is in 3 sizes. It is photographed in S/M size option. Pattern is written for smallest size with changes to bigger in parentheses. Different colour font use represents different size: Green - S/M, Orange - L. Blue - XL. Numbers in Black colour font represent both sizes.

GAUGE (Tension): 24 sts and 28 rows = 10cm (4ins), measured over stockinette st pattern (garment being washed and blocked), using 3.00mm
(US 2 ½) needle or size required to give correct tension. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
