This scarf is knit using the Entrelac technique. Each entrelac rectangle has an eyelet lace pattern incorporated into it. Detailed instructions are included in the pattern. The model is knit holding three yarns together; two lace weight and one halo. This Alpaca yarn creates a soft and warm scarf. A single strand of fingering weight yarn will also work well. US size 7 (4.5 mm) needles are used.
