Sweater Construction
A classic top-down, boxy-fit sweater with an easy-to-knit colorwork yoke. Short rows are used to enhance the fit and provide a higher back neck. The seed stitch collar, cuffs, and hem provide a sophisticated finish to the basic design. Using a beautiful color-shifting yarn will add interest to your knitting adventure and brilliance to the feather yoke design. The Fabulous Feather Sweater is perfect to wear on an evening out with friends or on a weekend away to a wool festival.

Sample was knitted in Size 4 in - Junction Fiber Mill Farm Fresh Lite (Sport Weight) in the color Natural Grey for the Main Color and Junction Fiber Mill Making Tracks Lite in Alpenglow for the Contrast Color.

Yarn Requirements - Skeins - MC - 5, (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) based on 210 yards (192 meters) per 50g skein and 1, (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) Skeins of CC based on 210 yards (192 meters) per 50g skein. Estimated amounts used - yards (meters) - MC - 852, 956, 1155, 1360, 1550, 1750 / (779, 874, 1056, 1244, 1417, 1600). CC - 120, 120, 170, 170, 225, 280 yards / (110, 110, 155, 155, 206, 256) meters.

Needles - US 3 (3.25 mm), US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles - various cable lengths to accommodate number of stitches. US 3 (3.25 mm) DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop for the small circumference sleeve hem.

Notions - BOR Marker (Beginning of Round Marker), Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, Stitch Holders or Waste Yarn.

Sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - Chest Measurement - 34, (38, 42, 46, 50, 54) in / 86, (97, 107, 117, 127, 137) cm. Finished Chest Measurement - 36, (40, 44, 48, 52, 56) in / 91, (102, 112, 122, 132, 142) cm with 2 in (5 cm) positive ease.
