These socks are knit with different patterns on the front and back. The front is a decorative lace pattern while the back uses a portion of it to create a lacy rib. Once the patterns are set, the knitting is straightforward; however they are not recommended for new sock knitters.

Available in women’s medium and large sizes, they are worked cuff-down and have a flap heel with eye of partridge following the back leg pattern.

The pattern has both charted and written directions and is written to be needle neutral. Each size and style of direction is separate from the others so you will need just 2 pages to complete your socks.

The stitches used in this pattern include k3tog, sssk and double yarnovers.
