___ Crochet Face Scrubbies ___

This listing includes patterns for classic round cleansing pads AND a square version - the corners are great for removing eye makeup, or cleaning up baby, etc and they are even quicker to work.

___ Crochet Laundry Bag ___

This mesh bag is a great introduction to filet crochet, designed to be as easy and quick as possible to make - minimal counting and no fiddly working into chains!
Designed to take the Cleansing Pads, you can also use it for other small delicates. By making your own, you can make as many of these laundry bags as you like, so you are never without one while another is in the wash!

You could also super-size this pattern, working with household string and a large hook for an easy-to-make toy storage bag or similar!

___ Pattern & Materials ___

The face scrubbies / cleansing pads are made with light worsted weight (Category 3, double-knitting, DK) yarn. You will need a size 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook and a size 8-H (5mm) crochet hook for these items.

For the laundry bag, you will need No 10 crochet cotton, and a size C-2 (2.5mm) crochet hook.

You will also need a blunt, yarn needle and some sharp scissors for these projects.

The pattern includes detailed notes on yarn choices.

Important feature of my crochet patterns
Each of my crochet patterns includes BOTH a detailed ‘tutorial-style’ set of instructions with colour photos, AND succinct unillustrated patterns using standard crochet conventions.
I have developed this style because I find I like to see a lot of detail the first time I work a pattern, but if I then work the same piece again, I don’t need the pictures, etc, and indeed they can get in the way when I just want a quick reminder of what I’m doing. The PDF is also structured so that the succinct versions, with an area for your own notes, are on a single page, making it easy to just take one sheet of paper with you if you have printed it out for quick reference on the move.

I also hate weaving in yarn ends, so all my pattern are designed to involve a minimum of this!

This pattern is available in UK or US crochet terminology. Both versions will be available to you on purchase - just choose whichever you prefer to use.

These patterns are all designed to be as easy to work as possible, and because by their nature these items don’t involve seams, etc, they are good projects for beginners who want to create something that will really reward their effort.
