Description: This is a pattern that is great for knitters new to knitting fades. Knitting with fingering weight held double allows for smooth transitions between colours and for a very quick, super cozy pair of socks! Instructions are included for fades using 3-6 yarn colours in equal sections and could easily be adapted to accommodate for more colours or uneven sections. Get ready to bust that stash for these Faded DK Socks!

This pattern is written for DK socks that are knit using light fingering weight sock yarn held double, knitting on DPNs. While the pattern is easily adaptable to knit on circular needles, the pattern only includes specific instructions for knitting on DPNs.

Needles: US2 (2.75 mm) DPNs (circular needles would also work, however, instructions are written for DPNs)

Sizes are based roughly on the measurement around the ball of the foot and for this pattern are 19 cm (21.5 cm, 24 cm, 26.5 cm) or 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10.5) in
