Take a wander through Hobbiton in the Autumn and you will delighted by all the pumpkins you see!

Hobbits are fond of displaying their pumpkins by there front doors because the colorful, round pumpkins look lovely beside their colorful, round doors.They are also particularly fond of pumpkin dishes (which the pumpkins will eventually turn into). Their favorites being pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, pumpkin scones, pumpkin tarts, pumpkin biscuits, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pudding, roasted pumpkin. These pumpkins are a fun, quick knit. They are knit in the round on dpns from the bottom to the top. The cast off end is used to help shape the pumpkin and to get it to lay flat. The cast on end is used to close up bottom end.
