Stranded hat pattern featuring garter stitch brim with short row shaping for the ear flaps. The hat can be worked with the Torch man (read more about him here), or it can be worked with just the tree pattern.

Gauge (stranded pattern)
Sizes M and XL: 22 sts and 27 rounds in 10 by 10 cm/4 by 4 inches
Sizes L: 24 sts and 28 rounds in 10 by 10 cm/4 by 4 inches

Size depends on stitch count and gauge.

The smaller size (medium) is worked with smaller stitch count and gauge 22.. The two larger sizes (L and XL) are worked with larger stitch count and different gauges, gauge 24 for large and gauge 22 for x-large. Thus three sizes are obtained with two different stitch counts.
