Fall Acorn Dishcloth

I’ve seen this “acorn” stitch pattern used before but wanted to make a cute, gift-able dishcloth with seed-stitch border for this fall. With some trial and error I finally achieved the finished stitch pattern and love the seed stitch look with it!

Using a worsted weight cotton yarn and 4.5 mm (US 7) needles, this pattern produces a fairly large size dishcloth at just over 9 inches square. I used 40 grams of a 70-gram ball of lily’s sugar n’cream in the color Goldenrod for my example.
