This beautiful sweater features an eye-catching panel with a cable & lace motif that elegantly runs down the left shoulder and side of the body.
It was inspired by my beloved Fallen Cloud shawl design.

The Fallen Cloud Sweater features a relaxed fitting body, wide crew neck and drop shoulders. The construction is worked top-down, seamlessly in one piece.
Upper front and back pieces are worked flat, down from the shoulder cast-on, while including shoulder short-rows and neck shaping. Then the body is worked down in the round to the ribbed hem. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked down in the round to the ribbed cuff. Last, the stitches for the neckline are picked up and worked in ribbing for a nice finish.

Please note that it was designed so the cables cover the complete left front shoulder. Therefore the cables increase as the size of the sweater grows = the smaller sweater sizes feature smaller cables, the larger sizes feature larger cables.

The cable pattern is provided in both charts and written instructions so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!
