This sock has a simple, repetitive lace pattern that is reminiscent of falling leaves in autumn. The sock is worked cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction, and the lace pattern is represented in charts.

This sock is designed to have approx 4-5cm/1 ½ - 2 in negative ease. To work out which size you should knit, measure your foot around the ball (the widest part just after your toes) and apply 4-5cm negative ease. E.g. your foot measures 24cm around the ball, 24 - 5 = 19, you should knit a size 3.

Needles:
2.25mm / US 1 circular needle with at least 80cm / 31in cable. (Please note, although this pattern is written with magic loop in mind, it can be adapted for DPNs or a 25cm circular sock needle)

Gauge:
38 sts = 10cm / 4in
(note - gauge is measured AFTER blocking. Before blocking gauge is approx. 50 sts per 10cm.)
