"Falling Waves" Handbag
You have the opportunity to knit and felt this bag in different sizes, not only by the wool thickness, but also by the number of stitches.
The pattern itself is easy, just the knitting “around the edge” from bottom to body of the bag is a bit uncomfortable. With my tips and additional needles that`s no problem! The funny part: wrapping the needle, and unwrapping it in the next row while knitting. Felting this long existing pattern looks very nice -
My bags are alway made stiff and get a lining (and therefor not high), but you can also make a soft bag. My advice - knit the bag higher then (twice the wool).
You can buy the pattern here or as part of a kit - the pattern costs even less then.
For my 3 handbags on the fotos I used:
M - from Worsted (upper widht= 32 cm) 100 g each colour, nd size 5 (US 8)
L - from bulky wool (upper width= 35 cm) bag I knitted from 250 g bulky, nd size 7 (US 11)
XL - from bulky wool (upper width= 43 cm) from 300 g bulky, nd size 7 (US 11)
