You knit this jacket/sweater flat from sleeve cuff to sleeve cuff.

Main pattern: alternately
a double row of garter stitch in Nepal
a double row of stockinette stitch in Silkpaca

You can vary the sleeve length, whether long or ¾ long, then start with more stitches.
After the sleeve, stitches for the front and back are added - your rows then extend from the front hem to the back hem. The neck opening, then you continue to knit separately to the end of the opening, then again from hem to hem, then just the stitches for the second sleeve.
Stitches are repeatedly cast on provisionally or stopped and picked up again. Then you close the sleeves and sides with a few decorative rows and a stitch, then you knit panels with facing at the neck and bottom, and finally the fastening strips with a loop fastener.
You work in the pattern using a “cheated” intarsia technique: you first cut a thread of manada for each geometric shape. These shapes are integrated into the Silkpaca series without interrupting this working thread. There are photos of how to do this in the instructions (and soon) videos on the internet. Very funny!

Bust M/XL approx. 102 cm, oversized, length for all sizes 70 cm
The difference in width comes from omitting rows or adding additional rows in the shoulder area.

Material for size M/L:
6 balls Nepal
3 skeins Silkpaca
3 different coloured balls of manada
Leftover cotton for makeshift stops
9 light buttons d=1.8 cm
Bobbins with safety pins for the threads of geometric shapes
German name: “Theodors Mond” if you surch it on my website.
Buying this material (or over 75 €) the pattern is for free.
