Knit up a special treat!

The Fancy Stay Put Towel is knitted in a variation of the knitter’s favorite Old Shale stitch. This towel features a keyhole midway through the towel which allows you to drape the towel over a handle and pull one end through the other so it will stay in place without the use of a button. The knitter is happy to not have to sew on a button; the user is happy that their towel stays on the handle without slipping off!

Instructions are given for the striped towel, with step-by-step instructions on the stitch pattern, how to insert the keyhole, and when to switch the pattern so that both towel ends show the right side. Using one or two colors also shows off the beautiful design.

It makes a great gift for Mother’s Day, birthday, housewarming, Christmas, etc., and is useful for someone who has trouble with buttons and fasteners or anyone who is just tired of stooping over to pick up a dropped towel.

Fits a handle up to 4 inches around (circumference).
