The Farasha Cardigan features a clean, shirt-like silhouette paired with a delicate, wing-inspired lace pattern. The name Farasha means “butterfly” in Arabic, reflecting the soft, fluttering look of the motif.

The body is worked bottom-up in one piece, then divided at the armholes to shape the neckline. After the shoulders are joined with three-needle bind off, stitches are picked up around the armholes for the top-down sleeves, allowing custom sleeve length. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline for the collar, and the hem and front bands.

Farasha Cardiganは透かし編み模様のシャツカーディガンです。Farashaはアラビア語で「蝶」を意味し、羽のように広がる透かし模様から名付けました。
身頃はボトムアップ、袖はトップダウンで編みます。右前身頃・後ろ身頃・左前身頃を一続きに編み、袖付位置の段からはそれぞれ分けて襟ぐりを作りながら編みます。肩を引き抜きはぎではいだら身頃から目を拾い、袖を編みます。襟ぐりから目を拾って襟を編み、身頃裾と前立てを編んで仕上げます。
